Which anesthesia method should be preferred during childbirth?

????Spinal Anaesthesia: The membrane that surrounds the spinal cord between the vertebrae is passed through the lumbar region with the help of a needle and medication is administered. The body below the waist is completely numbed, the legs become immobile. After the procedure, immobility in the legs continues for 4-6 hours. We mostly prefer this method in caesarean section. With this method, while our mother is awake during birth and has the opportunity to see her baby, the anaesthetic substances given in general anaesthesia during caesarean section are not passed to the baby, so we do not put our baby to sleep.
????General anaesthesia: General anaesthesia is a state of temporary loss of consciousness and decrease in reflex activity without any change in vital functions. General anaesthesia prevents the patient's awareness during surgery by causing loss of consciousness, provides comfort to the patient during surgery by eliminating pain, and provides surgical intervention and appropriate surgical conditions by suppressing reflex activity and providing muscle relaxation.
????Epidural Anaesthesia: A very thin tube (catheter) is left in front of the membrane surrounding the spinal cord by entering from the back or lumbar region with the help of a needle between the vertebrae. Anaesthetic drug is administered through this tube and numbness is provided. Unlike spinal, loss of movement is usually not observed.
????  Leave the choice of which of these anaesthesia types to your physician; let's not forget that the most appropriate method for each patient will be different.
